I am an art director, editor, and designer. I’ve been a senior graphics editor for National Geographic Magazine since 2012, and before that spent six years as the art director for The Atlantic.
My work has been recognized by the Society of News Design, the Malofiej Infographics World Summit, the Society of Publication Designers, and the Webby Awards. It has also been featured in the books "The Best American Infographics" (2013) and "National Geographic Infographics" (2016, Taschen). In 2010 the American Society of Magazine Editors honored the May 2010 issue (“Fat Nation”) as the best news and business cover of the year.
